Maison Marakem Debut Presentation London Fashion Week SS17

September 16th saw myself head the creative team for Makeup at New luxury British womenswear label, Maison Makarem, debuting it’s  SS17 collection for London Fashion Week with a private champagne reception at The Ritz London.

The House of MAISON MAKAREM announces its debut collection at The Ritz Hotel

London during London Fashion Week. “Neo Opulent”, a new revived luxury, personifying a relaxed

confidence of the modern woman. Founded in 2013 by Layal Makarem, the Design House of MAISON

MAKAREM is a privately owned luxury womenswear label, carefully crafted for the woman who desires

authentic elegance.

The team was curated by Twenty Nine London PR which included styling/art direction by Victoria Bain, Hair by hairstylist to the stars Errol Douglas and manicures thanks to Tabby Casto.

The look was created using one of my favorite brands Cover FX, the versatility of the brand is what is what sets it apart, everything can be mixed, matched and customized, the shade range is stellar and the formulas luxurious.

Skincare is paramount when it comes to opulent looking skin, using the Custom Infusion Drops – F + Neroli to hydrate and prep the skin for a plump appearance.

A light veil of Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation used for a flawless sheer base, it’s water based, oil free and actually leaves the skin with a natural , hydrated feel, (The shade range is also amazing!)

For skin looks that like it’s been dipped in candle light and dusted in sunlight we used my absolute favorite Custom Enhancer Drops patted lightly on cheek bones, the pigment and pay off of this product is insane, they are also amazing to mix into your chosen foundation. They come in 6 shades and suit every skin tone.

For the perfect highlight there needs to be the perfect contour, using ever so lighlty , Total Cover Cream Foundation to softly sculpt the cheeks.

Warm brown hues softly defused over the eyes and lips using darker tones of foundations on both eyes and lips.

The final look is polished, classic but with a neo- modern twist, enhancing the natural beauty from within .

Huge Thank you to Maison Marakem & Twenty Nine London for having me apart of it’s debut.

Special Thanks to the amazing support from Monty PR for providing the products from Cover FX.

Thanks to my amazing team Danni Ottmann, Lucy Heath & Jack Burton .

Thank you to Leo Cackett for the beautiful pictures backstage and for the presentation.
