Capital FM Breakfast presenter Lilah Parsons would have to be one of my favorite faces in the biz.
I had the pleasure to make up her up for this years Capital Jingle Bell Ball held at London’s O2 Arena.
Lilah’s style is always classy, feminine and on trend and she sure as hell know’s how to work a red carpet (Along with her handsome co-hosts Dave Berry & George Shelley)
I absolutely love working with Lilah as she just makes my job so easy, this would have to be my favourite look to date, so I thought would share how to get her look, and you can even shop the products.
The Perfect Prep
To prep Lilah’s skin I mixed one of my all time favorites Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate along with Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonder Glow to give her skin a luminous lit from within radiance. As it was an early call time I used Skyn Iceland’s Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels (I LOVE these) while I did her eye makeup, they instantly cool and de-puff and just feel fab .
Ace the Base
When it comes to stadium lighting, cameras flashing and long days I needed something super flawless, yet stayed all day and night. Urban Decay’s All Nighter foundation was a new kit addition and I was so pleased with the results , it does not move but unlike many full coverage foundations it looks light and fresh.
I am not a huge fan of overusing concealer, but hands down NARS radiant creamy concealer always works a treat, I mixed shades Caramel & Custard for a subtle highlight.
For her bronzed Christmas eyes I started with MAC Paint Pot in “Indianwood” eye shadows NARS duo in “Cordura” and Charlotte Tilbury’s Luxury Eye Palette in “The Dolce Vita”. Sky Breaker lasting silky eyeliner by Glo & Ray in dark brown smudge across the lash line finished of with Eylure Pro Lash individual flares and lashings of PUR Fully Charged Mascara.
Hands down my number one is Charlotte Tilbury’s Film Star Bronze & Glow (used with her powder & sculpt brush) the bronze is not orange or muddy looking and the texture is super blendable. As for the highlight it’s subtle but not sparkly which I LOVE. I finished with a tiny swish of NARS Orgasm blush.
The focus was on the eyes, so I kept the lips natural . I always prep them first with buttering up the lips with Nuxe Reve de miel lip balm (absolute lifesaver!) Rodial XXL lip liner in “Baby” and Penelope Pink fromCharlotte Tilbury.
Last but not least I blinged her body up with Palmers’ Body Gloss, smells insane and looks delicious!
